Weekday Flying

Hello WWHGC Members,
Please remember to call ahead, preferably 1 day in advance, if you want to come out and tow during the week. It was my policy to remain at the airport during flying hours but I have learned that too much time is wasted that way. Usually no one shows up and I could have been more productive with the time. So please remember to call ahead so you won't waste a trip out to Twin Oaks.

Club Meeting

Besides the promise of a great day of flying and celebrating a good year for the club, Saturday will also be a club meeting to discuss the club financials and plans for next year, and election of new club officers.  If you would like to be the president, vice president, or treasurer now is the time to step up to the plate.  Ray has done an outstanding job as club treasurer and would like to continue. George is running for club president and so far is the only one who has shown interest in the position. No one has shown any interest in the Vice presidency.  So come out enjoy some great fall flying and support your club.

Octoberfest this Saturday!

Looks like a good chance of a flying day on Saturday. This will be a great time to celebrate a GREAT SEASON of learning, solos, soaring.
Thanks to those who have contributed much time and energy. We will be cooking brats and burgers on the grill. Dale will be makeing some awesome Sauerkraut (Christian Thoresons recipe). Joel says we have some surplus "water funds" which will fund the brats, hamburger, chips Etc.
Please bring your favorite BREW (for after flying is done for the day). Any one wishing to bring desert, please do!!!
Don't forget we all can exchange bragging rights around the BONDING FIRE as we have enough wood for one more big on.
